Concentration	Effective as a whole extract or through its key compounds (madecassoside, asiaticoside, asiatic acid, madecassic acid). Products with standardized TECA extract or those listing multiple centella derivatives tend to be most effective.	L-ascorbic acid: 10-20% at pH 2.5-3.5 for maximum efficacy. Concentrations above 20% don't improve results and increase irritation. Vitamin C derivatives (MAP, SAP, ascorbyl glucoside) are more stable but less potent — effective at 1-5%.
