By accessing or using ChokChok (the website at chokchok.app and the mobile app), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use ChokChok.

ChokChok is an informational skincare resource. We provide product reviews, ingredient analysis, AI-powered tools, and personalized routine recommendations based on K-beauty principles.

ChokChok is not a medical service. Our content, AI-generated advice, and skin analysis tools are for informational and educational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional dermatological advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

If you have a skin condition, allergic reaction, or medical concern, consult a qualified dermatologist or healthcare provider — not an app.

You can browse products, ingredients, and use most tools without an account. Signing in (via Google OAuth) unlocks favorites, routines, reviews, and public profiles.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Do not share your login credentials with others.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Reviews — You may submit product reviews. Reviews must be honest, based on your personal experience, and not contain spam, hate speech, or misleading claims. We reserve the right to moderate or remove reviews that violate these guidelines.

Public profiles — If you create a public profile, your username, skin type, routine, and favorites will be visible to anyone with the link. You can delete your profile at any time.

Photos — Photos uploaded to the Skin Analyzer or Scan My Shelf tools are sent to OpenAI for analysis and are not stored permanently. Do not upload photos of other people without their consent.

By submitting content (reviews, profile information), you grant ChokChok a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content on the platform.

ChokChok uses AI (powered by OpenAI) for several features including the chat assistant, routine builder, skin analyzer, shelf scanner, ingredient checker, and dupe finder.

AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. Product recommendations are limited to our curated catalog but may not be suitable for your specific skin needs or medical conditions.

The Skin Analyzer provides a general visual assessment — it cannot diagnose skin conditions, detect diseases, or replace professional dermatological evaluation.

Always patch-test new products and consult a dermatologist if you experience adverse reactions.

All content on ChokChok — including product reviews, ingredient analyses, brand write-ups, article text, design, and code — is owned by ChokChok or used with permission.

Product images and brand logos belong to their respective owners and are used for informational purposes.

You may not scrape, copy, or republish ChokChok content without written permission.

Some "Where to Buy" links on ChokChok are affiliate links. If you purchase through these links, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

Affiliate relationships never influence our editorial ratings, product picks, or AI recommendations. All reviews and ratings are independent.

You agree not to: abuse rate limits or flood our API endpoints; submit fake reviews or manipulate ratings; use automated tools to scrape content; attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data; use ChokChok for any unlawful purpose.

ChokChok is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content, including AI-generated recommendations.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChokChok and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform — including skin reactions to recommended products.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date below. Continued use of ChokChok after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
