Not to be confused with Sensai (also Kanebo-group). KANEBO the main line relaunched in 2016 as Japan's answer to La Mer โ premium, minimalist, ritualistic. The Cream in Night is the hero product and it's the real deal; the Face Wash Cream has a cult following. If Sensai is for the woman who reads Vogue, KANEBO is for the one who reads Monocle.

The KANEBO Story
The KANEBO main line relaunched in 2016 after a decade of existing mostly as a Japan-only corporate name. Kao Corporation (which acquired Kanebo Cosmetics in 2006) positioned the relaunch as a Shiseido-tier prestige play, with a strict focus on nighttime repair products and a deliberately austere design language. The Cream in Night uses "Aqua Jelly Film" technology โ a hydrogel matrix that melts under body heat โ and has been widely covered in Japanese dermatology trade press. Distinct from Sensai, which sits in the Kanebo Cosmetics lineup as a separate prestige line.

Cream In Day Premium SPF15 PA++
KANEBO's 2025-26 prestige refresh โ luxury day cream with multi-peptide complex and SPF, the J-beauty answer to Sisley.

Comfort Stretchy Wash
The KANEBO Comfort Stretchy Wash is what happens when a 90-year-old Japanese beauty house decides a face wash should feel like a cloud. The foam is absurdly dense and elastic โ stretches between your fingers like mochi โ and the post-wash feel is clean without a trace of tightness. Ceramide-supported so your barrier isn't paying the price for cleanliness.
