Requires huge volumes of cactus fruit to produce (~1 ton for 1 liter of oil), which is why prickly pear oil is premium-tier. Chemistry: very high linoleic acid (60–65%), exceptional tocopherol content (roughly 1000 mg/kg), plus betalains and vitamin K. Excellent for mature and reactive skin. Often a headline ingredient in Moroccan luxury brands.
