What is Double Cleansing?

Double cleansing is the cornerstone of Korean skincare. The first step uses an oil-based cleanser (balm, oil, or micellar water) to dissolve oil-based impurities like sunscreen, makeup, and sebum. The second step uses a water-based cleanser (foam, gel, or cream) to remove sweat, dirt, and remaining residue.
