Rubus chamaemorus grows only above the Arctic Circle, ripening to a luminous amber colour across Lapland, Siberia, and Canada's far north. It's one of the most vitamin-C dense berries on Earth (3–4× an orange by weight), plus it's packed with ellagic acid — a polyphenol with documented tyrosinase inhibition (i.e. brightening). The seed oil is exceptionally rich in essential fatty acids and tocopherols. This is THE signature ingredient of Finnish skincare: Lumene, Frantsila, and Flow Cosmetics all build around it.
